2001 Monte Carlo 3.4L

My change oil light came on yesterday so I changed my oil this morning but the light still comes on. I dont have the factory radio so i cant reset it that way. Is there any other way?

Hey hi, so here is the work around for the oil light re-setting.

With the key, turn it to the ignition switch "On" position, do not start the car.

Next fully depress the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.

Turn the ignition switch to the off position.


You may have to do this a couple of times till you get the hang of it.
