Default Oil leak, have ideas but not sure

Hey everyone, I have a 1999 monte carlo 3.1. Recently I've been noticing oil being leaked onto the ground. I've looked around under the car and there's oil on the oil pan but also around another certain area. The area is flat with a few holes in it on the passenger side.

I have some pictures of the areas if needed. Just was wondering if anyone new what could be leaking in that area. Thinking maybe the oil pan gasket and something else, there isn't any white milky stuff in the oil so I don't think it's a head gasket.

pictures might help if that is possible. But I would guess without seeing you may have a leaking oil pan gasket.

I dont know if this helps. But when I bought my monte I had a pretty big oil leak and I took it in to be diagnosed and I was told 3 things. Crank shaft seal, rack and pinion and motor mounts, were all things that needed to be fixed. doing the crank shaft seal and rack and pinion fixed my leaks. you may want to look into those.

Here's an underside pic, the top left was the flat surface area I was talking about. You can also see the oil pan is pretty soaked, and some along the trans oil pan

Unfortunately, I cannot get to your pic.
First, unless you kept the engine clean, oil residue can be tough, as you don't know where the gunk, dirt and grime originated (unless it's fresh oil).
Two common causes for oil leaks are:
-Lower intake manifold gaskets
-Oil pressure switch/sending unit

If you oil leak is say, from of the engine, a little off center (favoring the driver side a little), under the exhaust mani, above the pan, it's probably the oil pressure sending unit/switch. That's about $10, about 10 minutes of work.

The internal seal on the unit breaks down and oil seeps (in one case I saw, sprayed) out the center of the connector. If you suspect that is it, you can disconnect it, stay clear of the belt, watch it with a mirror and have someone start the engine. If it's bad, oil will seep or spray out the connector.
