On my 2000 Monte Carlo with the engine off and door closed, a red status light blinks and every 5 seconds, I hear the speakers click on and off as if the amplifier is turning on. I have the alarm turn off in the radio settings. This is causing a battery drain. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it? I have aftermarket midrange speakers and tweeters in the door, but no capacitor is present.
