Yea, I'm thinking I may have to PB blast, maybe get a socket on it. that tool I got for some reason is slipping, causing the ends it to strip a bit, so I'm going to back off with that.

so I borrowed my friends heating torch and his 22mm closed end socket. I slipped the adapter through the wrench, heated the exhaust up for a solid 30 seconds, and it broke free. I installed the new one with anti-seize on threads, and plugged it back in. I reset my code, and was wondering, how long does it typically take for the computer to retrip the program if it comes up again?

Aha, nice you were able to remove it, and with heat I may add. I used a heat gun as I could control the heat flow better, cooked it till it was about red hot. So nice job!!

Are you asking with the new one replaced if that was not the actual problem, how long before the CEL will come back on? My experience was almost immediately, ended up having a shorted out brand new delphi 02 sensor. Replaced that, canceled the CEL and no more light.

Thanks for the tips! yea, basically if this were to fail, how long before will it come back on, though I'm fairly confident this fixed it.
