Having never heard of that code before, I googled it to see what it was. Oddly enough what comes back for p0201 doesn't seem to match up with what you've noted about the MAF circuit:

"Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Malfunction"

In terms of the headlights causing engine issues, I've got 2 things I'd initially think about:

1- What kind of amperage draw are you seeing headlights off vs on, what is the voltage between the two states? Wondering if maybe a battery or alternator could be weak / failing.

2- Id look into the ground path for the headlights and engine. Wondering if a poor / corroded ground somewhere is causing issues.

Has the car been wrecked or flooded before this happened? Any other changes right when the issue started?

The car has not been wrecked to my knowledge and I was driving and the car stopped on me. I got a fuel pump put on and I changed the battery. My sunroof stopped opening also after the fuel pump died. And I’m sorry the code is p0102

That makes more sense. I still think the outcome is the same- id look into the two places above:

-Voltage / amperage changes headlights on vs off. Also load testing the battery and alternator. Id look to see if voltage was crashing when you turn the lights on - say from 14 to 8 or something crazy. Id also be curious if current draw seemed reasonable, although you'd likely have other issues if it wasn't (blown fuses, burnt wiring, etc).

-Making sure the grounds are OK- MAF ground, pcm ground, headlight ground, ICM ground. Its possible to have good voltage/ amperage going in, but to have reduced performance of the piece of equipment because it doesn't have a clean path back to battery. Perhaps there's only a small area of ground contact left uncorroded that's being shared by the headlights and a piece of engine control equipment (perhaps unintentionally) that can't handle the return of both items at the same time.

Thank you. I’ll for sure look into it. It’s raining here in Detroit so I’ll try again tomorrow
