No heat
My 05 MC has no heat...
Ok, so some back ground.....For the last week and a half or so after the car has warmed up to it's normal operating temp I would have no heat. If I were to move the temp levers up and down I would get heat.
Now, some more back ground (I posted this a few days ago with no help)......I changed the air filter and after loosening up the clamps with a screwdriver, I put it in a hole for safe keeping..........well, not so safe keeping as I shut the hood and ran the screwdriver through the radiator.
I just finished changing the radiator, put everything back together and filled it with anti-freeze/water and ran it. Temp shot up to almost the red zone. Hoses weren't hot or anything.
So........is it possible the thermostat is sticking? Or maybe I missed connecting something when putting the radiator back? I double and triple checked everything and didn't see anything.
One final question............is the thermostat under the air breather connection?
Ok, one more question, if so, how is it changed?
Thanks.
