6th Gen ('00-'05): Nees help
I have a 2003 monte carlo ss. It doesnt want to start in the moening, the battery is completly dead. I know sounds like an alternator but i have a brand new alternator starter and battery and it still doesnt want to start, any idea what it could be?? Thanks
Check the cables to the battery. I had a blazer act the way you describe . Turned out the battery cable had corroded down in the sheathing where it wasn't obviously visable just glancing at it. But then again depending on the brand of alt or starter you purchased I've had way more issues with bad parts from the big chain stores. Stuff like that I prefer ac delco just my preference though.
If it's just giving you problems after sitting over night I would look into making sure something isn't drawing the battery down. Those lamps in the rear view mirror got me before.
