need help with 02

Default need help with 02

when i start driving for a while my battery light comes onandthe battery gauge goes all the way down while i'am still driving. at the same time the sevice traction system light comes on . then the break light comes on then the low fuel light comes on and the fuel gauge goes down and this is all happening while i'am still driving
can someone please help me!!!!!!

Do you have an 02 Ls or SS, this might be one of those dreaded monte electrical problems.

Don't worry, if it's the PCM, they aren't expensive / hard to replace.

And if you have the disposable income it's a good time to do a cold air intake, since you will be removing your stock one to get to your PCM.

I honestly probably don't recommend this at all, but I would try it.

When your ABS light comes on, slam on the brakes and try to see if ABS activates. Or if your TRAC OFF light pops on, try to spin your tires at a red light. If it doesn't, then your instrument cluster isn't just throwing lights at you, and it's an actual electrical problem. Which then would possibly be your PCM

Some of the techs I work with do this to figure out if is the PCM, or other electrical problems. I would recommend taking the monte to a GM repair shop.
