Default MPG Thread!!! Post em here.

2003 Monte Carlo LS 3.4l V-6 automatic approximately 103,000 miles at the time I bought the car and started tracking the mileage. That was less than 3 months ago. I have about a 12 mile commute daily and it is 50/50. The rest of the miles are leisure and sales calls and I would guess maybe 50/50 too. If there is any interest I will continue to update this thread. I will continue tracking mileage regardless. I am probably going to up the tire pressure the 44PSI and see how much the ride suffers. I am unsure what the pressure has been at, just been really lazy. I don't typically speed and I don't race this car. To be honest I think these numbers are dismal. I used to have a 2001 Prizm LSi. 5sp 1.8l VVT-I and I got substantially better mileage. In fact the worst I ever got was 23MPG with the A/C blasting all the time. I had a best of 42MPG in that car. All highway run mind you with the A/C going.

I realize these numbers are absolutely in-line or even better than what the car should be expected, but my 3.4DOHC Fiero gets this kind of mileage and I drive it hard. I mean I averaged better than 23 in that car at 100MPH on a trip to Texas.

EPA Data for my car is 19 city, 29 highway, 22 mixed.

Well I have a pretty nice spreadsheet made up, but it won't format properly here. I attached it in case you want to see it.
24.46
24.42
22.27
27.64
23.61
21.76
24.70

Average of 24.12 mpg.
