Default Monte Carlo Vs Chevelle Seat Covers

Does anyone know the difference in the seat covers besides price?
I have a 1972 2Dr Monte Carlo and am re-covering the seats.
I have found 1972 Chevelle Covers for almost $200 less.
Besides maybe the buttons, what is the difference?
Won't those work on the Monte?
THANKS!

Are you planning on making it all original? Then, I would spend the extra cash to make it right...

Theres no "real" way to tell you if it will work or not.... It all boils down to the shape of the seat, length, width, etc etc.... If it is dimensionally the same...Then it "should" fit.
Just remember..."Cheaper" isn't always better... Its your call.

For factory covers, I believe that the montes had a higher quality vinyl and cloth versus the Chevelles.

For the bucket seats, the dimensions will be the same. I'm not sure about the benches. The rear bench will be the same but I don't know if a Chevelle front bench was split the same way the montes were.
