I have a 86 SS. It's got a PPG white paint on it that is way to expensive to maintain (its about $700 for a gallon). My favorite color is black anyways. I want to repaint the whole thing back to the classic black paint with the red side strips. I dont know the first thing about body work though. Can anyone who owns a black monte with the red trims tell me what their paint codes are for each? Could you also tell me where I can get the red side strips and the "Monte Carlo SS" door tags? I've attached a few pictures as reference to show what I want my monte to look like.
