Default lookin for some advice

i am currently looking at a 1985 monte carl ss with a 350 and i was wondering what are the strong points of these monte carlos and what are the weak points? i plan on making it a dd and want to make it into a fun car as well as a nice strait line car and was wondering what needs to be done to make this into a sound car. thanks guys

It sounds like someone has already worked on that Monte then because it has a 350 in it (85's only had 305's for their v8's). Otherwise, I'm not really sure about what you would do to it, as I'm more familiar to fwd Monte's. But, good luck and I hope it works out for you.

these cars are sound from the top down. the only weak point is that the frame tends to rot quick from the rear wheelwells back. floorboards as well.
