While driving every couple days or so my headlight will turn off or flicker.. when they turn off i can hit the bright switch and they will turn back on but i don't want them to someday just not turn back on. My parking lights stay on also when the headlight go out... Any ideas??

 

Without checking the schematic, I'd suggest taking a look at the headlight relay first--that's the easiest initial approach. The switch itself would be the second step.

What the? This dude has been with us since november 2008 and has only made 3 posts? IMO. Anyway, could be your head lights, could be your alternator. If you gave us the year and stylethat would help.

 

head light switch the contacts that are in the switch wear out quick fast and in a hurry befor the relay goes bad.
