Default Light Set up

I have a question with how the lights are set up on the 5th gen. The daytime running lamps use which set of bulbs? and should it be the inner most light or the middle lights. And then i'm also curious as to witch is low and which is high, i get the feeling that mine are rather mixed up. thanks

The lows are supposed to be in the middle, the highs are supposed to be the closest to the grille. I would assume DRLs use the lows. I don't like DRLs though, if I had a car with it equipped I'd pull that fuse ASAP lol

This is what i thought, but during the day i've seen many lumina/montes driving around with drl's as the high beams. yet when i had my drl's enabled it was the middle lights low beam.

My DRL is the high beam (inner bulb) at 50%

My lows are the middle bulb at full power.

And highs are the inner bulb at full power.

Well obviously this was before I switched to projectors and HIDs.. it's none of the above now

Ok, so now i'm baffled and seriously wondering if my wiring is all mixed up But it cant be, if drl was the same as low, that would mean my drl's are using low instead of high.. I've had my head in a bunch over this many times And same here, i no longer have the DRL function.

Maybe your light sensor is goofy.. it thinks it's night time all the time and thus turns on the low beams during the day but making you think it's running DRLs.

Do your dash lights come on during the day?
