Default led tail lights

i just bought led tail lights and it says no modification needed to, and that they are already wired and ready to go all you need to do is unplug the old ones and plug in the new ones. but the old wire harness doesn't plug into the new one. the new one is completely different what do i need to make them work?

Hey.

I have those tail lights also. When you remove your old tail lights you want to remove the whole wiring harness. Once you have the harness removed take all the bulbs out of it. You are going to use this harness to plug all the holes on your new tail lights. I'm just going off of memory but I think the center hole on the led headlights has the wires coming out of it. Take these wires and plug them into the old wiring harness that you removed off the back of your stock tail lights. It just goes in where the bulb was. Remember to match the black wires up. I have the photos somewhere if you need to see it step by step but hopefully this works for you. BTW mine was on a 2007

i have the same ones, and i thought the same thing.

theres 1 circular plug that comes out of the bottom hole of our new tails. plug that up accordingly. the other 2 plugs just go into the other holes, no connections required. make sure you get the rubber grommets off your old lights so they seal up right.

the rectangular/flat plug that your tralking about is not used. i just cliped it onto a plastic part of the new tail so its out of the way.

make sure that you match the black to black wires when you put them in.

just a recap the new plug was hidden in the bottom bigger hole, be carefull stick your finger in there and work it out. it was like that on both sets that ive got.

i wanted to be different and try them but they dont make matching heads. then i thought why be unhappy with getting a color that i didnt like just to be different.

i think they look a 1000% better tinted. heres the pics. not for nothing but the factory lights are crazy expensive as well, and the smoked ones look exactly like the clear ones.
