Kinda' sounds like you might have had more than one leak, but replacing the radiator would include disconnecting the trans. cooler lines and reinstalling so hopefully all is well.

depending on your location. I have the 3.5 engine similar to the 3.4 the freeze plugs went when the head gaskets went on my 3.5. before the first engine replacement. check those as well do a pressure test by putting pressure on the engine to help find the leak. I noticed the same thing in a way with the puddle under the car. kind of brown color. it was mixing with the grease and other things when dripping. the back three are the most likely on going bad do to not noticed as easy. tend to rust out fast. pressure test it it will find the real leak
