Hi, thank you in advance for any in put on this issue.
Im still getting intermittent P0404 EGR Open position code and a P0171 Fuel Trim Lean (bank 1) codes.
The EGR Valve is about 7 months old. I'm wondering if the EGR tube is cracked and need to know how to tell, I can't see any cracks, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.
If the wires were bad would it cause this code?
Ive been told to get a new EGR valve, but I don't want to spend the $200 and the problem not be fixed.
Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated!!
