Default Interior Swap Questions

hey all, im new here, posted a good ol hello in the newbie section, so my apologies if im asking this in the wrong area, I searched but didnt see so perhaps my wording was wrong, but Im just now getting into the monte scene, im going tomorrow to pick up a Black 2001 SS, 123k on the clock, for what I believe to be a good price, "3500" no body damage or anything, 2 tiny little rust spots that ill probably have repaired this coming spring, but the interior is gray cloth, now I was wondering would the seats out of say an 00-04 impala bolt into these or are the interiors completely different? maybe I would be better off with seat covers? any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

"The Newbie"

Why not just swap some leather seats in from an 00-07 Monte? Otherwise, I'm pretty sure the front seats would swap fine, but the back seats might be a little different. Not completely sure though.

Definitely just find a set from another 00-05 Monte and swap them in.

Sometimes you can even talk down shipping costs and have the person just strip off the covers and mail it that way.

Your best option would be to find seats from a 6th gen monte (00-05). That way you know they'll swap out easily. I'm not sure if the back seats from an impala would work but I think the front seats would, if your set on impala seats.

thanks for all the replies guys, much appreciated, only reason I was asking about the impala swap was because a upull lot by me has an 03 and an 04 impala in the lot, and the seats would only cost me 16 bucks each to pull them and take them home. VERY cheap

If there cheap and you like them you can make them fir pretty easily. I'd wait and see if they get any montes in and then just get those. Good luck.

X2 I'd wait to see if a monte shows up but if you want something to do I say try the impala seats
