Installed the cold air intake...

Arrow Installed the cold air intake...

But no place to plug in the mass air flow sensor. Of course check engine light is on. What to do?

You may have to drill a hole in the duct work to insert the sensor?

My friend told me he may have come up with a way to plug into the original piece... I figured I would come here for ideas. At first we were thinking dummy plug.

Your stock section of maf tubing isn't integrated with the new intake? What intake do you have? I know the K&N utilizes the stock maf section of tubing.

Is there any way to modify yours that would allow you to splice in the stock maf tubing? For a visual, here's mine with the stock maf tubing installed in the K&N system (immediately behind the heat shield), which is how K&N designed theirs.

Hmm, that is nice. Mine is a small metal piece and no heat shield but I have experienced a shockingly great power increase.

You almost need to get another coupling and a few more hose clamps and then install the stock maf tubing between them; so red coupling (pictured) > stock maf tube > new coupling > filter. If there's no heat shield you aren't as limited on space or position so you can afford to extend it a bit.

By extend it you mean the metal pipe I already have? Like replacing it with a longer one? We talked about that too to get it more away from the engine and such.
