Hvii 3
So I finally got to install the HVII 3 after a bunch of required and preventative maintenance. After redoing my trans, rear main seal, valve covers, and oil pan gaskets, I finally got to do some more maintenance. Hahaha fun!
I replaced my old NGK TR55ix with OE AC delco 41-101's, (which had NGK laser iridium stock number on the bottom, so don't waste money on the NGK's lasers)
Replaced my old 180 t-stat
New: Wix fuel.
New: Good Year Gatorback serpentine belt
HV3 and new gasket of course
Injector o-rings etc
Before the tune up I was getting 5.9 degrees of knock (WOT on top of 3rd or 4rd I think).
After the tune up the most I was getting were blips of 2.3 with continuous WOT. Not bad I think, and it was 95 degrees out.
Plug wires were not a factor as I had PRJ's on with both runs.
BTW, the heat range on the TR55ix is 5 and 4 on the AC delco 41-101’s.
I’m now looking for a competent place to dyno here in LA; looking into SP Engineering SP Engineering, pricey though. I’ll then see what I can do for a proper tune. (Off da shelf tune right now)…
Pics of HV install.
And why are my pics always soo big on here but not other forums...??? LOL

LOL...Gotcha...
I feel a small/but good difference but haven't really had a chance to open her up yet...And I have a badd butt dyno.haha..I did notice that I don't have to press the gas pedal as much to pass, so that's a plus.
Mostly, seems to tie my power band together nicely. Doesn't feel as asthmatic, but I should know more when I run certain cars on the top end.
I should be getting a vid up this weekend.
