Default HVAC issue on 98 Z34

Last winter I slid into a car at work and cracked up the passenger side front of my Monte. After that the HVAC control for where the heat/ air comes out (defrost/panel/floor) stopped working. It now comes out mostly from the defrost and some on the floor no matter where the switch is. Could there be a vacuum canister that was broke in the accident? Any ideas? I'm trying to get my A/C all straightened out before it gets really hot. Thanks in advance.

Your vacuum canister is on the drivers side but its still possible you broke a vacuum line or something from the force of the crash.

It is very possible the impact did something. For example affter I hit a bridge and destroyed the fender on my '01 Tracker, my radio and dome lights stopped working. I ended up having to run a new 12 volt wire to the memory line on my radio. It was not a fuse or fuses, I checked multiple times.
