Default Hubs/ why do my wheels sound like a 4x4 riding down the road?

I thought my hubs were bad because the sound it makes when driving down the road. So i was told that my hubs are good. My tires are fairly new and it didn't sound like this before. So i guess my question is how do you know if your hubs are bad?

Usually a hub/wheel bearing will make a roaring noise while turning corners. I think another way to check is jack the car up and grab the wheel and try to shake it from a certain position (9 oclock and 3 oclock I believe, but I may be wrong).

Yea thats it. If it wobbles, its bad. Should be zero play with the wheel off the ground.

Ok we did that and their good. Im wondering if it could be tires maybe rotated. Or could it even be just the tires in general ?

Could just be tire noise. Check the pressure in the tires, they might be low or high?

My winter tires make that sound vs all seasons do not. Aggresiveness of the tread pattern and sometimes the road itself.
