I want to turn over the engine on my 2007 ss with 5.3 engine to get oil up to the top of the engine without starting it. On older cars you would just pull the coil wire. Is it as simple on this car and if so where do i find it.

Computer controls everything. I dont think there is a way to do that.

 

I'm sure the is a way to do this low tech, but what is you end game? Do you want to turn the engine over once a week? I guess you could spice in a switch and run that to the dash or other places. Splice into one of the crank sensors and this would just have the connection open so as if the sensor weren't there. Just an idea; I've not tried it so someone else can chime in. And with how sensitive cars are getting this could be a bad idea. just my 2c.
