Default High Beams Stuck On

Alright Folks, Here's the story:

About a month ago I couldn't turn my high beams on, then my turn signals randomly went out, then I couldn't turn my low beams off, then I couldn't turn my high beams off and now I can't turn the lows nor the highs off.

I'm planning on changing the multifunction switch and hazard light relay either on Sunday or next week, but I was wondering if anyone had any other thoughts about what else it could be or if there's anything else I should replace when I have my interior in pieces again.

ebay has them for cheap around 40 bucks, compared to the 300 ones the dealerships might sell

Thanks. Yeah I'll let you know. And I already have the parts I need, just wanted to make sure I didn't need any others.

Well, got half way done with the repair and figured out that I don't have an E5 external torx rachet bit. So decided to call it quits, too hot anyway. Have to run out to Sears tomorrow morning, ugh.

Ok, I put the new switch on and everything works fine. Got too hot though this afternoon so the interior is still in pieces. Have to put it back together tomorrow.

Alright, it's all pieced together and it did the trick. It was a pain in the *** but it's together.

Well, it's been a month with no issues now one of my early issues decided to come back today. My turn signals are now going out intermittently. Any ideas?

Edit: Just read wkimes's post on the same issue. Good thing I already bought a hazard switch and had it lying around. I guess I know what my project is going to be tomorrow.

Edit #2: My dad said my new hobby is ripping apart my dash.

Hello,

I've seen this problem in my Mom's 02 Monte with the turn signals not working, its not the multiswitch that is the problem, its actually the Hazard switch ironically. Dad and I replaced it in the 02, problem hasn't been back since, been a few years.

So since you have the switch, once you get it in should be gold.
