ok so there was a really crappy cd player in and i need to install a diff one but have no idea to start to take the dash apart to get it out

anybody know

its a 95 monte carlo LS

 

Most of the trip parts are snap in and more than likely will not have any screws or bolts. Once you get the trim parts off the stereo carrage screws/bolts should be fairly easy to see. I am not 100% on this for the 95 but the stereo head unit may be a part of the overall computer/electrical system.

yeah thats what i thought
it looks like the part around the cd player also wraps round the steering wheel and such and i was thinking it was just a snap off thing

 

FYI: it just snaps off and then there r 2 screws
