Anyone familar with them? I stripped my transmission port on my 2002 ss while replace the lower transcooler line. But i need to kno the size of helicoil i will need for it. The wrench to remove it is 3/4 and its course thread but not sure of the size. All help appreciated.

A helicoil will not seal against fluid. You need something like a timesert.

 

You guys think loc tite will seal it up? There on now jus drippin from the port
