heater wont work 84 monte carlo

Default heater wont work 84 monte carlo

Need help please !!.....what will cause heater to not work ?? ...blower motor is good ..new thermostat...fuse is good.....Whats left to check ?? what else will cause the heater to not work ??

Check all of your electrical connections to the control unit on the dash. Make sure that the connections have no corrosion in or on them and make sure they are seated properly.

nothing happens when you turn the heater on but.. heater core is new and blower is new......today just bought a new heater relay and resistor and control switch....hopefully heater will work after i get these put in..

If those parts don't help then your problem is in the wiring. A few years ago my blower motor wouldn't work so I had a wire with an inline fuse (30 amp) running from the fuse panel to the hot terminal on the blower motor. I had that hooked up to a toggle switch under the dash.
