Default Heated seat wiring

I am trying to find a wiring diagram for the heated seat switch.I checked it out today and all seems well. The problem I am running into is that when I turn them on only the passenger side turns on and this happens no matter which seat switch I turn on. In other words the driver side works passenger side and the passenger side switch works the passenger side also. It is really strange so any help is appreciated.

Maybe you already saw this thread. I'm not sure it is what is going on with your seats, but it is a very common issue with our cars. I have had to fix this issue on both of the SS's that I have had.

Yes I have seen that, not really my issue. Once again what is happening is it seems that both my seat switches control the passenger side seat only....no matter which one is turned on it operated the passenger seat and that is why I checked the switched to see if they were jumped together bUT all looks factory so I am lost

Hi Keith.
Sounds like the problem might be a heated seat relay module, located under either seat. That part might be a little hard to find. Probably gonna' have to hit the junk yard.

Anyway, here's a couple schematics for a 2000 SS. Hope they help

If a relay is shorted across the pins it will energize both seats.

Should be a pin routing on the relay. Check continuity with a multi-meter across the pins according to the diagram with the relay unplugged, or while operating the switch if you can. Be careful not to blow a fuse.

That's cool. I wasn't sure if the driver's seat short issue could cause what you are experiencing. Looks like Plumbob has you on the right track.
