Default Headlight upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade my headlights from stock but I'm not sure where a good place to look is or what kind I should get

What year? For the 6th gen, black housing ones on ebay are pretty popular..

Popular yes, but light output does suffer. If you are upgrading for looks, they are great! If you are trying to upgrade light output, I would just get a better bulb for your stock housings. (And be prepared to replace them more frequently than a stock halogen)

I need new headlight assembly's though because mine are scratched and broken. So I was just wondering if there was a specific one that's better than the rest

X2, I cant stand the ebay housing light output. It's even worse on the 5th gens.

If you're looking for a serious light upgrade - open the housings, retrofit projectors, and install quality HIDs in the new projectors. IMO that's the best way to improve lighting.

Exactly how difficult would that be to accomplish? I really want to see better at night. My headlights are faded and the same for the fog/driving lights. I've cleaned the headlights before but I think changing would be a better option. I was debating on somehow just fitting projection driving lights from a newer car.

About 20 years ago, I upgraded from stock sealed beam to H4 halogen — Ooo. About 8 months ago, I went with LED — WOW. I'm never going back to halogen.

Your mileage may vary.

My solution, projectors. Dang these things let you see 1.5 miles down the road on low beam. High beam burns out oncoming traffics retinas...

Projector lens, LED strips, Clear turn signal lens.
