Default hard shifting..

hey im new here and got a problem im curious about.
i have an apt for the chevy dealership on tuesday to find out what it is but tryin to get an idea.

whenever im driving sometimes the car shifts hard in all gears, even when im at a stop light and i press on the gas to go, it jerks before continuing. Its strange bc it doesnt always do it either, just got the trans fluid changed.

bought the 05 ls with 70k miles on it.
luckily i have a 3 yr warranty with NO deductible.

any idea what it might be? if you need more info I can try to give it to you.
thanks!

Well mine does it too, see when the motor gets warm and the tranny does too, parts expand, and if clutch is slightly bent, it hits. I think its the problem, pretty common.

if its pretty common then what is there to be fixed?
also sometimes when i turn the steering wheel has a thumping feeling in it, cant be tires. am i just being too picky going from a small sedan to a large coupe?

i had it done at a shop but it left a black streak when you wiped it off.
it was pretty black yet the fluid was still red.

Hmm. My 2005LT had a burned up clutch at 35K miles, had 2B replaced. Also had the clunking sound when turning a sharp right, had that fixed under warranty. So keep taking it to your dealer, and if you're still not content w/what they tell you, go to another dealersip. And check in here too. Good luck.

my friend at advance said the hard shifting is prob cause the idiots didnt put enough fluid in, it was on the add mark. so we shall see. but the steering thing he said is prob rack and pinion which is under the warranty. do 05's come with manufacturer warranty? the warranty i purchased is3 yr 36k miles no deductible.

took to chevy today, its prob internal problem for hard shiftin. he said there was a code sayin it was slippin and that i gotta come back friday and drive it more cause i had fluid changed not too long ago. we think its internal so gotta get some metal shavings in the fluid, he said drive it like i stole it if i want lol. the steering issue was the intermediate drive shaft, its knockin a bit.
overall its coming out that my dealership are douches.
:P
