Got the Monte Back from the dealer...
So I got my Monte back early. The dealer called, and everything was done! So I went down and picked it up before school. It runs good as every again...
Here is what they did:
Replaced the ECM: ECM was found to be faulty causing engine misfire, service traction control light, and check engine light. (thank you jet performance crap for ruining that for me!)
Replace Grid on rear window defroster: Rear Defrost was found to not be working, Grid cercit found to be bad...replaced, defrogger works as designed.
Customer states that transmission is leaking fluid at a very slow pace from a transmission cooling line coming directly off of the transmission. Checked and verified. Transmission leaking from cooling line. O-Ring found to be bad. Replaced entire cooling line and O-ring to ensure leak is fixed.
Test drive vehicle, inspect for leaks in transmission. OK.
So there you have it...Jet Performance module did infact ruin my ECM...my GMPP warrenty covered it thank God! So I only had to pay my $200 deductable for all of the repairs listed to be done! The Monte is back on the road and well!
After picking it up from the dealer, I took it straight to the car wash, and got a FULL detail. Leather seat cleaned/ conditioned, exterior Clay Bar, and waxed...It look awesome, you could use it as a mirror! Normally I would have done it myself, but I just wanted to get it done, and didnt feel like it, so I treated myself to having it done!
My new floor mats came yesterday, so i'll put those in when i get home! Then I need to put the CAI back in (I took it out and put it back to stock so the sealer would not blaim it for my ECM being fried, and for some reason void my warrenty, just wanted to be safe). I also need to install my STB...probably this weekend!
