Default GM 3.4L MAFS/TPS Issue?

Hey there,

Had a question about a post I found from someone with a 3.4L engine over on this Youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9E62lMkwRs):

What I know from the GM 3.4L 60°V6 (LA1) in my Grand Am:

MAF sensor: This can fail while still giving values in the range accepted by the ECU, thus no trouble codes. You'll get drivability problems that may look like something wrong with the transmission. Typically power cuts out on the top end and may resemble hitting a RPM limiter.

May also need throttle body cleaning on occasion, PCV suction isn't that far where IAC is. Sometimes with battery being out or after working on the throttle body also may need to do the TPS learn procedure (it's easy), or it will have drivability/shifting problems.

I've noticed that when driving a constant highway speed and then wanting to increase speed, there is a lag for the engine to realize I'm giving it more power (does not change gears, just increases the power on that gear). I've had my throttle body cleaned, MAF sensor cleaned, transmission fluid and filter replaced, general engine tune-up, spark plugs & wires, etc. This is something I've noticed has started to occur within the past year or so (my MC is currently at 141k miles so far).

Based on this post, is it worth it to replace my MAF sensor to see if it helps at all with drive-ability if my ECU could possibly be accepting wrong values, or is it not worth it to replace it if I don't have a check engine light?

Is this possibly an issue with the TPS instead?

Thanks, fellow Monte Carloians!
