Default gauges

can anybody tell what aftermarket gauges i can use in a 03 monte have an idea and want ti run all aftermarket gauges what kind can i use any advice would be great

I'd be interested to see how you make out with this because I have had thoughts of the same thing recently. After looking at the wiring diagrams it looks like a big challenge.

It looks like all the data from the sensors goes to the PCM which outputs the data to a board on the cluster and then to the gauges. I haven't taken my dash apart to see what that part of it looks like, but I imagine tapping off that isn't going to be easy.

The PCM is going to need to see the original sensors that are on the engine so you'd have to figure out how to tap off them (if that's even possible???) or install new sensors for the gauges in different locations.

Have you figured out how to do any of this yet?

i forget what company (autometer maybe?) makes an obd2 adapter with analog outputs for use with aftermarket gauges, but there is hope i will say that... ill do a little looking
