fusible link near starter
I just finished swapping my 3.4l to a l67 and while I was connecting the starter I hooked up the little wire to the starter the big red terminal to the starter. I had an extra 1 orange and 1 black wire attached to one terminal with fusible link written on it. I don't know where it goes and the only two places that it reaches to is the starter and a grounding point on the transmission. So I hooked it up to the starter. I then connected the battery and put the key in the ignition. When I attempted to start the car nothing happened. I didn't get the security light. The interior lights come on, the volt gauge on the cluster works fine but all the others do indicate anything and I get a low fuel message. I think it has to do with that fusible link I have connected to the starter. I think it might be a ground. If anyone, someone please get under their monte and verify where that wire goes. I'm 80% positive that is the problem.
