Default Fuel used on upper console not reading right.

SO I filled up my gas tank today. I was reminded that a certain console which displays my mpg, fuel used, average speeed, etc.. is not telling me the correct amount of fuel used. Is there any way to properly calibrate it?

I don't know of any thing other than a reset of the DIC.

Sorry I don't know the answer, but I can tell you mine is not right either.
I reset at last fill up, and then yesterday I put in 13 gallons, but the car said it had only used 11.

I keep track of milage on a spreadsheet and 13 keeps me consistant so I don't think I was robbed at the pump.

Reseting the DIC after adding fuel is essential for accurate calculations.
You can reset the AVG ECON, FUEL USED or AVG SPEED trip computer modes by pressing and holding the RESET button for three seconds while you are in the mode you wish to reset. A chime will sound to confirm that your requested change has been made and all the segments of the display will briefly light up. To change the display to a metric or English reading, press the RESET and MODE buttons at the same time. Hold them down for three seconds, and the display will change. A chime will be heard to confirm the new selection. The DIC will send a class 2 message to the IPC to change the units displayed in the odometer.
