Is it just me or my Monty? If I fill the tank it seems as though I can just drive and drive and some more driving, but once it hits half a tank it seems I can hardly get 60 miles. It chugs it so fast at that point. Anyone think I have a problem?

 

How many miles do you get per tank? Should be 250 or 300

 

I get around that. so you think thats normal?

 

A lot of fuel gauges aren't super accurate, my Honda says I have a full tank for 100 miles, then it rapidly drops til half a tank

Or maybe your fuel sender unit is going bad?

 

damn, i just dropped over $1500 just in repairs this summer. i really dont want to deal with the fuel system.

 

It's nothing major, just keep an eye on your mileage

 

If your fuel level sender does go, usually it will read FULL while driving and when you start the car on level ground it gives you the proper reading.

I currently have that, but it doesn't bother me, as I use the Tripometer constantly anyway.
