7th Gen ('06-'07): Frozen odometer.
I noticed a month or so ago I was closing in on 343k miles, but I generally have my dash set to something other than the odometer.
About a week later, when I estimated I was close, I checked again and the odometer reading hadn't changed. It's currently at 342,721 and has been for weeks.
Only issue I know of with the car atm is the TPMS system needs work. It reads fine until I'm driving for a while then I get the service msg and some of the sensors don't show up anymore, but they did before I started driving.
Speedometer works, trip meters work... no error codes. I figured it might have hit a data limit... but that number is far from all FF in hex code. As far as I can guess I'm left with two options... the TPMS issue is causing very weird behavior, or the chip that stores mileage has reached its write limit and needs to be replaced.
Anyone had an issue like this before? Thoughts?
Thanks.
