Found a lake in my car!
Similar to others problem, but this one must be from the mirror universe.
The drivers side well on my 05 floods whenever it rains, and even when washing the thing. So I cant drive it when it might rain.
Noticed some water tracks on the trim piece and it is coming from behind the driver side of the dash. Any ideas on where to start looking?
My last Chevy was a 70 Chevelle so I am pretty much lost under the hoods of these new fangled computer driven "cars".

Fuel injected motors aren't that different than carb'd motors... Just replace the carb with injectors, add a bunch of sensors, and that's it lol
But if water is coming from behind your dash, it's either a clogged sunroof vent, or your windshield seal is leaking.

Happened to me when I put my roof rails on. Grab a cup of water, and pour it into the roof track and watch it trickle down. IT SHOULD go down the side of the windshield and down behind the front tire.
If you notice it is getting sucked into the windshield and going down the A Pillar and behind your dash (pull your fuse box cover, you may see some water lines) then it is definitely the windshield seal. You can either get a new windshield and sealed off properly, of you can go buy some silicone and pull up on the trim and push some in there until you can pour that cup of water and not see anything.
