Fog Lights Bulb Replacement

Fog Lights Bulb Replacement
Has anyone actually replaced their fog lights yet? I have an 06 MC LT and it has the factory fog lights installed. What I want to do is to replace the bulbs in them with the xenon lights. I have all 3 sets to change (low, high & fog) and I know changing the lows and highs are cake, however, I am unsure of how to change the fog lights. Is there anything special that I should know before attempting this? Do I need to take apart the car in any way shape or form?
Any help in this matter would be greatly apprecitaed on this end.

RE: Fog Lights Bulb Replacement
looks easy to do your bulb size is h11 and they install just like your low beams. all you go to do is get unscrew the fog light or get under your car and take out the bulb behind the bumper. I just ordered a hid kit to do my fog lights and probable april 5th i will install them, when i get going on this project i will put up pics of the install and hid conversion.
take a look at the pics to get a better look at your fog light.

RE: Fog Lights Bulb Replacement
Thank you very much.. I appreciate all the info that i can get.. I like the look of the stock case, but I want to put in my Xenon lights cause I like the brightness and the blue tint it gives off.. The ones I bought are the Eurodezigns.. I got 2 sets of H11 and a set of the H9 bulbs to replace my stock ones.. They still only draw the same amount of power to use.. I had a set of these on my 03 Monte Carlo SS, but didn't change the fog lights to them.. Now I am with this one though.
I was just worried about changing the fog lights becuase it looked like it could be a bit of a hassle to get to them, but if all I have to do is get under the car and remove some plastic tabs to get to the back of the bulb, then I am set .. I do a lot of my own work on my cars and this will be the 3rd thing I have done to this one.. I just get leary at times when it comes to plastic tabs and such.

RE: Fog Lights Bulb Replacement
I just replaced ALL the front bulbs on my '04 Intimidator SS with Sylvania's. The headlights are Ultra's, and the fog lights are Silverstar 880ST's. Sounds like the foglights are a different bulb on the '06-07's than the earlier 6th gen Montes.

RE: Fog Lights Bulb Replacement
Well I got my bulbs in today and installed them. Thank you very much ChuckD for your information. It is so nice that GM did that and made it easy to replace the fog light bulbs that way. I cannot wait until tonight when I actually need to use them. I'll have to take a snap of it and post it up on here. I love the blue look of the Xenon lights.
