Default Flasher going nuts

Hi guys, I have an intermittent issue with my turn signals. Some times the car will flash the turn signals what seems like 1000 times a minute and other times it works fine. Not sure what to change, isn't there a hazard/flasher relay or module or something behind the dash? Or do I have a different issue?

Problem: my turn signals don’t work
Cause: Bad hazard switch
Temporary Solution: bang on the dashboard near the hazard switch to see if the turn signals work again.
Permanent Solution: Replace the hazard switch
Prevention: nothing

Thanks for the reply, the turn signals are working, just rapidly blinking intermittently. Should I still go ahead and change the hazard switch?

If they rapidly blink that means a bulb is out, if it's intermittent, I would check the relays for the flashers and the wiring.
