Default Exhaust tips????

I got some exhaust tips from autozone they are bolt on 2,5 in and 3.25 out I think they are resonators. Whe I rev it to about 4k rpm it makes a popping like thre engine is cutting out. Is this normal it runs fine in normal driving. Thanks Steve

The factory rpm limiter is set to 4K, so if you try to rev the engine higher (when not in gear) the computer will systematically drop cylinders in order to maintain 4K rpm. This is normal and can create 'popping' and/or what sounds like misfire.

If you want to add a pic to your signature that can be done through the 'User CP' tab on the top left of the page. If you want to include pics in your post there's a couple different ways:

Go to your garage and copy the [IMG] code for the pic you want to include. Paste that code into your post where you want to pic to display.

Open an account with Photobucket (or similar site) and upload your pics to there. Copy the [IMG] code for the pic you want to display and paste it into your post.
