For 200 bucks, I'd rather just get a tuned PCM and an intake

I'm getting K&N Intake. I'm really going for sound though, a little faster would be nice at the same time. No straight pipe though.

200 bucks will barely get you two decent mufflers (Magnaflow/Flowmaster, etc)

While you're doing the exhaust you might as well have that little *** u-bend deleted

for 200 bucks you could get two thrush turbo mufflers, and a resonator for around 70 bucks for all three, and they sound really good on most v6's

I just had straight 2.5" pipe ran from the cat back to the stock mufflers & it sounds pretty good

Forget about the K&N Filter and get yourself a Wizaired intake from ZZP. Then use the extra money you save from buying the Wizaired over the K&N intake and have a shop cut out the U bend in the exhaust and weld in a straight pipe with an O2 bung. Save the 200 bucks you were going to use on the exhaust because you arent going to gain any power with a catback and any kind of aftermarket exhaust system or mufflers sound like poop on a 3800.

didn't you post another thread about this?

with the Wizaired CAI (don't get the K&N) you will have quite a bit of sound that will hold you off until you can get exhaust, so i would put the rest towards a tune or save up for engine internals
