Default dyeing seatbelts

Does anyone know a good way to dye seatbelts. I have a nice tan set that I want to dye black. Either that or does anyone have a good set of black seat belts for a 78 Monte?

Try Ryte*sp* dye from walmart, it works on fabrics and plastic, so it should work on that.

Just take ur seatbelts to an aviation upholster and they will change out the belts for you with new material. They are the only certified ones that can "repair" seatbelts.

I tried the Rit dye on one of the belts and I am not sure if Ilike how it turned out, You can still see a bit of tan in it.
