Default drivers side airbag question

Hey all I'm in the process of changing out the airbags from my parts car to my 03 monte for my daughter. The passenger side one is fairly easy to replace just a little time consuming. My problem is the drivers side airbag. Normally you can remove 2 or 3 bolts or screws from the back of the steering wheel and the airbag just pulls off. I've removed the 3 star bolts from the back and just the rear wheel cover came loose and the airbag is firmly attached still. Since this airbag has been deployed could it be jammed in our am I just missing something. Thanx fir any help

Default Drivers Airbag replacement

Hello, I have a 03 Monte with a defective horn switch. Could someone tell me if I purchase a used Airbag can I just swap it out or does the module under the console need reprogrammed? There was no Airbag deployment I just have a horn button malfunction.

Thank you
Ron
