Hi everyone,

I'm new here as a new 2005 Monte Carlo LS owner.

Now here's the thing: I'm really, really jealous of the LT owners with that cool Driver Info Center where the little glove compartment is and I really want one! Is there anyway to add this into my car?? I do have working knowledge of wiring etc and I'm hoping that it was an "option" in all Chevy's and it will be as simple as finding a used Driver Info Center somewhere and just plugging it into my car somewhere sort of like the XM Direct kit. Any ideas??

I have an '05 LT with the DIC, but I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Are you saying that the computer is mounted in the glove box for the display in the instrument panel to work? I've never really looked, so I wouldn't know. But, maybe you just educated me on something.

I've seen the DIC's on E-bay from time to time. You will need the harness as well, it can be found ~ H E R E ~.
