Default Draw on my Battery

I have a 2004 Intimidater SS. I just had an I pod harnes put in my car by a local stereo shop.A week after I had it put in my battery dies in about 24 hours if the car is not driven. The stereo shop said there is no way the adapter could drain my battery. If not the Ipod what could be draining my battery.I have had 2 new batteries put in and I still have the same problem. I know electrical is the hardest thing to figure out sometimes. I would just like to get some feed back to see what you all think.Thanks.

You've just got to figure out what's staying on in your car when you shut it off. Do you have an aftermarket stereo? Does your stereo turn off when you shut the car off? Did the shop do anything else when they installed the iPod interface? Try unhooking it and see if the problem goes away.

I have a stock radio. All they did was put a Ipod harnes in.The radio turns off when I open the door.I think they might have wired the Ipod hot so the Ipod will recharge itself in the car even when the car is off.

It's possible that it's got constant power, but I wouldn't have guessed that it would drain the battery in a day's time. If that's the only new thing electrically, disconnect it and see if the problem goes away.
