Got another question here for everyone who's lookin'...

I've noticed my dome light doesn't turn on when I unlock my car. Its a 2001 SS with keyless entry. I was wondering if there is way to make it turn on when I open the door or when I pull the key out of the ignition like it ought to...the light itself functions because i can turn the dial all the way and it will light up I just find it weird that it doesn't turn on automatically.

 

did you ever get this figured out? because I have the same issue.

 

In the manuel theres alot of ways you can program the car thru the radio. im sure theres a way to do it. if you put the car in the "on" position and hold "tune" for 5 seconds a menu should come up with options. use seek buttons to go thru some. maybe its there somewhere? or just thumb thru the owners manuel when you get a chance! (itll explain how to save it if its on that menu) hope this helps!
