Default Does Anyone Know?????

So i got out of My Minion and went into a rest stop. When I came back and started it up all the lights for the compass where light up, 2 Zeros with tan X thru them. And it says (cal) next to it. Does anyone know how to cal the compass?
Everything else in the info center works!

Must mean calibrate only thing I can think of is to check the operators manual, if that is not there you might be able to google it.

Hi JC, see your still getting it done, this cross country odyssey you have embarked on.

I found this forum link you can use to recalibrate your compass. Your in a new zone there my friend. It seems pretty easy. Safe travels my friend... Click on link below:

Never ran into this problem but good to know. That's one of the things I love about the MCF. You learn the common malfunctions so when something does happen its like "Stand back, I got this!"

Not sure if you have to change zones or not, but to recalibrate all you have to do is just drive in a circle.

With going thorough so many states JC ..... I would say yes you need to change the zone on your compass. Check your manual for which zone to set it to

Enjoy your trip JC and b-safe

Default Update!

Thanks guy, unfortunately a user's manual was also Missing from the standard equipment in My Minion. But, I got up this morning and started her, and the compass was working. I guess she just needed some down time. She's actually given me No Trouble at all! I feel so secure with the way she's been working. Gotta check her oil and coolant before I leave today. I was also thinking about treating her to a tank of Super Unleaded. But just one!!!!
