does anyone know if the turbonator really work? has anyone tried it

The turbonator is the best thing i ever bought it improved my gas mileage!

The turbonator is the best thing i ever bought it improved my gas mileage!

I call shenanigans!!!! This thing is just a piece of junk as all it does is slow the air going into the engine and robs you of horsepower.

I've seen a few tests and it actually shows that it robs horsepower and gets worse mpg ratings.

Yeah, see previous post on how it slows the air induction. Consider it like choking yourself, your lungs need to work harder to get air in them. This is the horsepower that is being robbed because the piston has to work harder to suck the air into the engine.

Yeah, I have an 01 MC LS installed a short ram intake and a Tornado and noticed about 3 to 5 mpg increase as well as more low end torqe. Not sure how much the Tornado alone
added

I'd pull the turbonator and see what you get.
