Happy new year everyone! ok here is my problem, all the sudden my dash lights are either turned up all the way or so dim you cant see anything. tried rotating the headlight switch but all that does is make them super bright or nothing. this is only at night, during the day they seem to be normal.the car is a 04 3.8 ss

 

please any suggestions?

 

sounds like the dimmer rheostat is broken.

 

Check the fuse for your taillights. I had this issue but was consist where all the dash lights were real dim. Someone told me at night that I had no tail lights. Replaced the fuse and I had tail lights again and dash lights.


Side note: my brake lights worked but tail lights did not.
